Not very often you hear of tornadoes in Japan causing damage to this extent...

Wow that quite significant damage!

Supercells in Japan are fairly common but to have one that spawns a tornado is quite rare!

I have had a look at the various youtube clips, it looks like this was a meso-cyclonic related tornado and not a landspout.

I have seen videos of tornadoes in Japan before, but not that big!
