USA 2015
April is often quite good. Hard tho with daylight hours still on the shorter side. Also the risk of snow in behind the severe weather. April tends to have big outbreaks that are moving very fast and hard to keep up with.
Sure do wish I was heading over this year. Just can't scratch up the money with a mortgage and baby. It's been 5 years since I was last there.

Re: USA 2015
I came across this clip of the 25 March 2015 Moore Tornado approaching. It was actually a mesovortex tornado and was rated EF1.

Re: USA 2015
I thought it was rated EF2?
Just did a quick search, odd that I couldn't seem to find a definitive rating. If you have a link would appreciate it.

Re: USA 2015
Apparently most of the damage observed was EF1, with only a small area of EF2-strength damage...

Very photogenic, but very fast moving. Not ideal for chasing, but watching the stream the roading options looked good in ILNZstorm wrote:A clip of that photogenic wedge tornado in Illinios today.

Dare to give this a rating Ef4? possible EF5, would be IL first EF5 if it is. I only mention EF5 as twitter post from a chaser reports of a complete house torn from the foundation

Re: USA 2015
Close encounter with the twister! The chances of surviving a direct hit from such a tornado would be nil.
