Its been a very good storm season this year in that there has been supercells on most days since May 1. So chasers have always had target areas.

I've chased on SLT with Graeme two times. I think he is on this forum every now and then.

Average day today considering the potential. We did manage two funnel clouds at the same time though over SE WY.

Willo and I missed the CO storms, alot of chasers are kicking themselves over it. But we got a a really nice LP supercell in Kansas with what some chasers are calling the best lightning show ever. We also got stuck in the Kansas Mud, got the others im with to push me out!

Caught 4 tornadoes today in CO today. Was a good chase, one of the only chasers on the Cu as it went up, once the storms near Denver started to weaken chasers turned up. Once again we got stuck on muddy roads, almost went over the bank into the ditch once!

Yes, looks like the Rear Flank Downdraft gust front.

I see Reed Timmer has some nice footage of today's tornadoes up on you tube.

Todays supercell structure from CO. Glad we didnt make the drive to E NE today. Will be another CO/KS play tomorrow. Probably the last chase day for us as we head home Tuesday and Monday doesnt look ideal.

Cheers Brian. Chasing E/CO W/KS has been great fun and rewarding the last few days. Have spent the last three nights in Goodland, KS. Possibly could be a forth after today's chase!

Heading home today. Been a good chasecation. Saw 5-6 tornadoes, supercell structure most days and the best lightning show I'm sure to see in a long time. Did just over 10,900kms in 17 days.

Better late than never, but just wanted to say thanks to Steve for organising the trip and doing an outstanding job behind the wheel, we had some pretty hairy moments in the dirt but it was a hell a lot of fun. Was also great to meet Will, hope to have a few more steaks with you guys in the future.

The trip well exceeded my hopes and expectations. Would be cool to get an even bigger crew next year, if you'll have me!

Looking like southern plains is getting an autumn severe weather season this year due to El Nino.
Could be a tornado in eastern Texas Panhandle today.

Could be a tornado in eastern Texas Panhandle today. But the days are short there and looks like a night time event.
