I live in the UK where we sometimes get rainstorms so I often go to my tent and sleep there. I care not about the wind and rain because I feel protected by surrounding bushes and my tent. However, I am not at all sure that a few bushes and a tent would be sufficient protection against the kind of storms endured by New Zealanders so I think I will give camping in NZ a miss! :wave:
