Tomorrow should provide better results in Montana.
NRN-MOST TSTM ACTIVITY OVER MT SHOULD BE HIGH BASED IN NATURE AND CONVECTION THAT DEVELOPS BY LATE AFTERNOON SHOULD PROPAGATE TOWARD THE DAKOTA BORDER AS LLJ INCREASES INTO THE EARLY EVENING HOURS. LOCALLY DAMAGING WIND GUSTS AND LARGE HAIL ARE THE PRIMARY THREATS

Good luck this week guys, looks like a good run for you. I'm about to head to the airport on my way to Norfolk Island for a week (3 day conference there, but they only fly once a week).

A great chase in west Kansas today, watched a mesocyclone develop and produce a couple of tornadoes.
photo, first tornado/meso with wide angle lens, tornado was only a couple of km from our location.

Nice work guys! I know Willo got on the storm as well. Unfortunately Wyoming didn't really deliver for severe weather but it was a very nice storm to be on anyway. Long drive from Casper WY tomorrow to chase the set up in NE.

Shot a little timelapse of the sunset.

We chased the day before which was WY, and the 9 hour drive to KS didn't seem very appealing. Prob in hindsight we should have not chased the day before, but we were getting itchy feet lol We also know this week has massive potential so missing one day we were fine with.

Chased a tornado warned storm in N NE today, watched the circulation cross the road in front of us. No tornado unfortunately.

Why are you chasing so far north? You guys have missed two great looking days now. Not saying what you have had hasn't been good but certainly not the golden prize that's been further south.

Yeah not ideal lol I know one group chased north yesterday then pulled an all night today to get to TX. We caught a Tor warned storm which had a nice rotation to it. While no Tor it could have been a different story another day.

We missed the good tornado near Garden City which was our original target area. Late morning we decided to go into the Texas panhandle, observed some strong storm activity there but no tornadoes observed by us.

Yes, Texas Panhandle was a little disappointing for us yesterday. We did get storms and severe hail though.

photo of cap break yesterday in northern Texas Panhandle.

Hopefully a better day today. We are in Shamrock Texas currently.

Chased the Woodward storm in OK. Big drive down from NE, over 970km all up and caught the Tor after dark. Staying put for today's 30% tor risk
