A very sad reality. I can't believe people buy water in New Zealand.

That pump water is just 'pumped' out from the Hunua Ranges and Waikato River. :roll:

Awesome idea. Maybe then the Americans will get out of the place.
They'll want to get a return on there investment first (oil), which is perhaps fair enough. War is expensive.
I can't believe people buy water in New Zealand.
NZ must be one of the few countries in the world where tap water is the same quality as bottled water.

lol! Tried Helensville tap water? I'd sooner drink the water out of my car's radiator. If I buy a house there I'm putting in a rain tank first thing!

in this area, with the sand stone, ground water is very good quality
and the oasis bottle company in auckland use it for soft drinks

So what's petrol? About $1.30 a litre?
In USA they pay around $0.50 a litre, and they are complaining about how expensive it is. We really are paying a lot for petrol in NZ and if it wasn't for Marsden Point refinery, we would be paying a heck of a lot more. :)

I may be ill informed, but from what I recall being told, Marsden Point isn't helping the prices at all. Anyone read it anywhere? I know they have been doing a huge upgrade to be able to meet the new requirements for low sulphur emmisions etc.

I put $10 Diesel in the Land Cruiser a few days ago...I got less than 10l out of the pump...$1.019 per/l or something like that. Add RUC and it's not worth it.
