Partial Eclipse this morning visible from Wellington. Only penumbral phase was visible from here. We missed the phase where the shadow of the earth starts to cross the moon (Those from Chch south could see that).

Quite unusual to see a Tui at ground level. Photo taken this morning. Also have taken some videos which I've joined together and will post later, currently uploading to youtube.

Photo was taken in Staverly near the start of the track to Mt Somers. I thinks the stream is called Bowyers stream.
