Found this link on the stormtrack forum and thought some of you may be interested. Its a short clip showing a plane in flight getting struck by a bolt of lightning in Japan.

This would be the first clip I have seen of this happening.

Got that through email from my dad about a month ago quite interesting though does that count as 2 strikes in one place :? 8) .

I wonder when that was taken.

The first time I flew out of Japan, from Tokyo-Narita, it was aboard a Qantas 747 in weather shown in the picture.

Actually, on second thoughts, I'd rather not know the date that pic was taken...
