No fog here overnight that I see has covered much of coastal Canterbury, low of -0.3 at 6.40am

Had a -4.0 C ground frost yesterday .Missed out on air frost by 0.3 degrees

Slight frosting this morning with one of our apple trees showing frost bite on it's leaves.
Down to 0.1C.

I'm not battling the frosts no where as much as i used to in Oct 15 to 20 years ago, even with this current solar minimum and a SSM event its not been that much different compared to resent springs. The meter reader called this morning and he's in CHCH, he said there was ice on his windscreen there too this morning

Frost this morning in Rangiora, car frozen solid. 1.1C when I left for work just after 5am
