Mistake Flat, headwaters of Rangitata up Mesopotamia way got 941mm for the whole event.
Webpage seems to say 471mm??

The website only covers last 7 days. I uploaded the data from 1 December to cover what fell earlier in the system and its 941mm. that is consistent with the 7-Day figure that was showing on the ECAN site on Monday just gone

Thanks, got it. Pretty impressive fall in that timespan for the eastern flanks of the divide.
Drove down to Geraldine this evening, Arundel bridge flow was back to more normal levels but the road repairs are ongoing. Can imagine what it was like.
Should of popped in here for a visit.
Yes. The road around Arundel was quite scored out from the overflow.
Luckily it didn't burst out further up and went through the houses there.
I noticed at Rangitata they were very busy restoring the railway line which even though the railway tracks were intact, the ballast and foundations were badly scoured out from the water.
Wow, wasn't that long ago that land was a river bed, then the dairy farmers cleared the broom and sowed it down, look at it now, its back to a river bed again. They dont really have the right to pull out the 'poor me' card.
