models show a replacement high after next weeks one...so a big pattern change coming!

Summertime anticyclones mean high daytime temps inland. be interesting how long that pattern lasts

The most significant equatorial easterly surge seen so far for this La Nina and it's going towards the end of the anomaly chart. Commencing around 27 December near the south pacific convergence zone. The next decent MJO pulse and it will erupt to the north of NZ and Coral sea... 2nd half of January by the looks of it.
