Photo of Cb line to the north late afternoon. Not much here in Mt Eden today, enjoyed the early season balmy weather.

Re: Tasman low NI 15-17 Sept
I have just noticed some wild pressure fluctuations today. What’s caused this?
Ground is very wet here now with rain falling for long periods of the day for 3 days in a row, yet only 40mm in the past 3 days. Quite odd but zero drying time and off the back of other rain earlier in the week, it’s really suddenly got quite sodden.

Re: Tasman low NI 15-17 Sept
i noticed the exact same thing here
it did coincide with the start of the arrival of warmer air too, ie the warm front
I also had the same pulsing wind speed too
so it could be like tumbling different air density air masses moving through (gravity waves?)
