climate fearmongering?
the climate is warming even if you don't believe it
but NZ is a long way from having problems living with that warming compared to other places around the world, where relying on air conditioning is more and more
(e.g China has recently broken all time records in a heat wave where 33-34c was the minimum overnight temperature (with high humidity)
or 54C in the middle east...still with relatively high humidity
and there is floods (e.g Pakistan) and droughts that are getting worse and happening more often around the world
putting your head in the sand and pretending its not happening doesn't mean its not happening or not going to continue happening

New Zealand climate has a strong oceanic influence with cool Summers by international standards. Even with very significant warming the NZ climate won't be as warm as the current Sydney/Brisbane climate which are considered better climates than NZ climate
