Good work spwill.

What was the exact time of the waterspout? Looks like Whangaparoa Peninsula in the background.

Here's a pic with the Waterspout dropping out of Cu, seen from MtEden.
The Cu later formed into Cb with a great Lightning show. :D

That looks like a good waterspout. Must be some good photos taken of it from people on the upper North Shore. I saw the lightning from that cloud around 9pm.

Edit. Thats Tiritiri Island in the back ground.

Missed the TVOne late news as it was probably boring news with Waitangi Day/Cartoon violence etc. Tuned to TV3 for Nightline but it can't be on as there is a boring film on with Patrick Stewart from Star Trek2.
Anyway good waterspout shots, not pour ones.
Hey Did you know that Waterspouts suck :D :-k #-o

...by the way... Did you hear about the meteorologist who went to the the psychiatrist clad only in a pair of gladwrap shorts?
The psychiatrist said "I can see clearly, your nuts"

Just seen the TV3 footage of the waterspout.
It didn't suck ( but then it could of?)
Obviously someone or people up there have video cameras [-X :-k

Sometimes your best viewing of a storm is from a distance.

Another photo of that Waterspout under Cu Congestus.

Yes, got sunburnt as well.

Compare the size of the Container ship in the above photo's with the Waterspout behind.
