Wtd - Help with LaCrosse 3600 - setting time stamping interv

Just purchased this unit, but cant find a way to change the default 5min recording interval on its internal Eeprom to a longer timeframe.

Ive checked the unit, manual and online manual, no help in either of those. It claims in one sentence it can only be done with the Heavy Weather program. There a very few options available there that I can locate.
