TV3 Weather

TV3 is planning a February 2004 launch for new-look weather bulletins using an upgrade of the MetService "Weatherscape" graphics on TV One.

Ha, I wonder which channel will get the right forecast now and which will get the wrong one.

Good.

Will they bring Augie back or have a serious weather person present the forecast instead of 'Weather-Girls" judging by the follwing comment from the article?




The full scope of the change has not been decided but TV3 is expected to move away from the light and breezy approach of weathergirl Toni Marsh to a more serious bulletin with detailed information.

TV3 weekend weather presenter Kelly Swanson-Roe is leaving the channel for a job in radio and one option would be to place weekday presenter Ms Marsh in her spot.

TV3 are so P.C with the names of the cities and regions-I used to watch it all the time with Augie Auer but now its very P.C ;)
The news is better than one however :)

When TV3 get the new graphics it will be interesting to have a look.
I have only ever looked at TV3 weather about once and did'nt like it.
