Inspired by joecam's pics, I drove out to Clintons Rd south of Darfield last night and took some photos in the bright moonlight - all 30s at f/4 ISO100.
It didn't even feel too cold as the air has been fairly dry with low dewpoints. Snow was about 30cm deep with a frozen "crust".
