Would be upsetting to have it broken, but then if it isn't high enough it doesn't work correctly.
Is it a case of if it gets struck it is rotten luck?

I'm lucky enough to be on the side of a hill so that there are trees and neighbours antennas that are slightly higher

mind you, theres approx 1500mm of pvc above the mast and prior to the boltek being on top, there was a discone and beam up there that had been there for a few years....

Davis NZ is their supplier

Forlongs won't stock it but will get it in for customers...

Still undecided about MML - mind you, haven't had a decent look at it yet either...

I've added you to my north island MML now
