Speak for yourself! You sound like an embittered supporter of a certain nameless party that's not currently in power....dogmelon wrote:Don't we just love ourselves. It is a pity that arm thing to the right of wellington didn't come down and crush helengrad.
Edit: Reply made because I object to people trying to insert political comment where it has no relevance!

To be fair I stole the idea from James in the other thread. Seems like an iceberg would reflect a lot of light, and even objects as small as they must be by now would stand out in the dull blue sea.Razor wrote:I reckon you are on the ball there....the Geonet website plots the icebergs in that general vicinity. I'm surprised the media hasn't made that link!sw_windbow wrote:wow, and you can see a couple of icebergs under one astronaut's foot...possibly.
Another feature I like is Red Hill below Nelson. It is a flagwaving mutation in the genes of the South Island's geological evolution, as I understand it, and man doesn't it look out of place. Looks like it dropped in from Aus.

Not from Oz- Mt Aspiring/ Fiordland actually. Thats where you find the other half of the Red Hills mountains....at the other end of the Apline Fault conveyer belt.sw_windbow wrote:
