Blue domes

Unread post by Willoughby »

Such a great day out 8) swear I just got a bit burnt in 10 min sunshine.

Just went to the gardens and it's already starting to get quite brown after 50mm last month.

This infrared image shows the hot areas nicely today.. 8)

Well it was a nice start to the day reaching a warm 20C by 10am but of course there is always something to spoil summer with low cloud coming in off the sea  .
Yesterday was a nice day though blue dome skies light winds even got slightly burnt.
Tomorrow should be a schorcher perhaps early thirties so a great day to find any source of water.
All eyes on Tuesday at this stage. 8)
Cheers
Jason.

Went for a drive before and the low cloud is only confined to north of the waimakarri and coastal as far E-SE as Burwood end of bottle lake forest.
Also is improving now with more blue sky about and 21C 8) .

Another summers day here currently 24C high cloud is thickening now though and no NWer as of yet but can't be far off as the NE wind has died back completly.
Cheers

Getting a lot of rain out of this front. 10mm so far and coming down at 7mm per hour in the last half hour.
