well down guys!
did you get a head of the line or was that from behind the line?
we got a great lightning show here too.
It was great to see the line firing as we drove south this afternoon towards it :)

We had lighting darting through the sky around us.

We are thinking of going east with it but will decide in the morning. It's another chance to improve our lightning photgraphy!

Great lightning display tonight!! Currently in Lincoln Nebraska at a Super 8 Hotel. We travelled around 1400 miles again today thats almost 3000 miles over two days!!

Some really nice lightning shots there guys it really does put our storms to shame :lol: but also makes me want to save for the trip in a few years time 8) .

Just woken up...still raining here....and the rain radar shows the front has not moved very far east.....still only just the other side of kansas....so we can easily get ahead of it for more action today/tonight!
will now need to decide on a meeting point with the other team!

Spwill, I assume you guys want to get east today for more lightning photography. I don't see any tornado risk today. The front is currently just east of Kansas City. We can rendevous at the gas station at Faucett, exit 35, on the I29 just south of St Joseph at 11am.

Our plan at this stage is to get on the I70 Missouri.

We had to abandon the chase east as the squall line was accelerating east and we would have had rush hour trafficif to deal with going through a big city
so we headed back west so not so far to go tomorrow (heading west more)

What is the name of your "Car Icons" on that there site? (Heard people talk like that yet? :-) )
I have seen "Willoughby", "TWW1," and "TWW4"....etc....
