I have a feeling some NZ'ers may be working in Dalhart at the moment - keep an eye out for silage chopping crews, odds are you'll find some kiwis

Would want to be well paid, this place is rough.

We drive north tomorrow heading for Wyoming or Montana. Hope to see some storms on the way. :D

Cool. I guess an "elevated junkie storm" is one which got high?

its not too bad really, i've worked in many worse places.

the pay was actually rather crap - $7.93us an hour from memory- no tax though (on a tax exempt visa).

Cool photo of The Team.. (Stephen's name needs to be inserted there, he's in the red T-shirt).
ALL photos are excellent, guys! Enjoying Stephen's blog as well (03Stormchaser). TV programmes coming to life for you people? Even this last pic of the plains in Colorado, on crossroads it's been used many times in movies (Tom Hanks delivering the basketball comes to mind;)

Hope you get (or make) time to see some of the cities as well, the ones still standing up   even if your trip is all about chasing, granted!

keep it up people, the roads must be looooooong by the sound (and look!) of them. Don't run out of roads.. (remember the saying: If you don't like the road you're walking - pave another one HAHA).

Great Photography!! Foggy - you will have to keep your head down in those storms... HAHA! That double/triple strike through two layers of cloud was spectacular! So I guess the grey haired traveller is Brian? And there is a husband and wife team there too. Very interesting info coming in on a variety of sites!!
