Crikey, one of those! The Omarama airport has one set up and in use in the flight controller's office and there's another in the airport's Kahu cafe, but it hasn't functioned in years. I thought about refurbishing it, just as a working display for the cafe patrons, but it would have gone into the To Do list at position 12,451 so I haven't even bothered.TokWW wrote:This must be going back a few years... After a bit more digging, there is an ex Heathkit engineer who has spares and repairs them still

It may be worth following up!!
Email and phone contacts available...
Hmmm, no humidity sensor though...
I still remember the amplifier kits we made at high school... and the 8-bit computers were just coming out then too although we were following the growth of the Sinclair amps and games computers later the Spectrum and Spectrum Plus... I still have one working at home... well in a cupboard!!

The oldest beastie I still have is my Amiga 500 (with the 1 MB expansion card). A mate has a private museum in two rooms of his house devoted to old computers. It's like a shrine.
