Some beautiful meteors tonight.

Either the tail end of the Perseids, a preview of the Kappa Cygnids, or part of the North Iota Aquarids. If you have a clear sky, well worth a look.

Lovely night sky here from West Melton under this great anticyclone. Haven't seen any meteors yet and yes, I have been looking :)

Should be clear tonight, thought i might try get them on camera. Any time of the night best or any thing??

I was out watching from around 8:30 PM - 10 PM but that's no guarantee of course.

You would be out on 27th with the lunar eclipse. NZ being in a prime location to view it from what I can gather.

The numbers are lower tonight but still some beauties. You may get some nice pics Stephen. How have you got on so far?

Clouded over last night, then rained briefly then cleared, then clouded back over... fingers crossed for tonight. Steven Graham you havent tried to photograph then have you??
