According to todays pressure map, its deepened to 994 at its centre,

Could this provide some 'interesting' conditions later in the week?

Wouldnt think there was all the stuff above NZ at present its doing very little to ease the SW flow over us currently,March being the least windiest month albeit the SW have only been moderate to fresh at times the last few days its still been there and whats happened to all the SE or N winds we get now :?:

The current Fiji map http://www.met.gov.fj/aifs_prods/0640.html
shows it as 985 by the looks and TC Grace ;)

means fishing will probably be crap on the east coast later this week.

That low looks like it will pass to the North of NZ moving SE and as it dose so will push cloud and some showers in to Northland and Coromandel near the weekend. It will be interesting to see what happens when the Low gets out East of NZ and meets very cold air moving up from the South at the weekend . Eastern districts look in the firing line for any bad weather .

Yes J o h n, very cold air relative to the time of year, but most of the action looks like it will be East of NZ so you still might get some Morris Dancing in. :)

It's looking like that Low NE of NZ will linger up there have no impact on our Weather. :)

Meanwhile, J o h n is getting ready for his weekend snowfall. :lol:
