Godwits at the Manawatu Estuary

This is the best I could get of the godwitts at the Manawatu estuary at Foxtown Beach.
I noticed a interesting cloud form towards the Tararuas in behind.
This was on Tuesday the 12th.
There were heavy patchments of rain driving back towards Upper Hutt, well, down the Kapiti Coast that day.

I know that area so well.. Fishing and Whitebaiting.. There every year, like the Godwits.. lol

The Godwits come to the ChCh estuary as well :)
