Breaking Records

Unread post by Michael »

We shall see if we break some records this winter with the constant "Furious 50's" over us for long periods and see when we will get our first 24 hour period without precipitation

There must be a giant watering can over your place - we had rain on 18 days in June, with an 8 day stretch without recorded rain in my gauge. ;)

Cheers,

Rainfall at Auckland Airport to 24hrs to 6pm last night, NIL. (NZ Herald) ;)

I see Whakatane 44mm, Gisborne 77mm, Napier 64mm for the period.

I broke some records recently when I dropped a pile of old shilac 78's for my gramophone. Fortunately some of them were quite scratchy so I didn't mind really :)

We used to throw them as frisbies when we were kids(The 78's used to go furthur due to their weight :) I suppose a bit of humour would brighten up the dreary and boring weather up here ;)
