Funny you should say that Michael,

when I left for work this morning (which is within 3 minutes every morning) I couldn't help noticing that it seemed lighter. For a minute there I thought I was late

Yes its getting lighter in the mornings now for about 3 weeks or so with sunrise at 7.19am compared to 7.35 on the 1st July and getting lighter in the evenings since about the 21st June,The mornings will show maked lightening over the next few weeks as the equinox approaches but the cold lags the shortest day ;)
