Lost: One Web site....???

Unread post by CbFan »

Last year, I found a neat website that had great illustrations and animations of cloud/atmospheric interaction using "cloud tanks" that they use for SFX in movies and similar arrangements. One good clip was using a tank of water and/or oils to show how anvils form and how overshooting tops are related to the strength of the convection.

I wanted to point someone at work in this direction, but cannot find my bookmark and googling has so far turned up a big fat zero.

Anyone else know of it, or of a search engine that could pick it up if it still in existence? Was based in the States and was connected to one of the universities there.

I recall mention of Blustein, Doswell & Rasmussen etc. But all my leads from their pages draw blanks. *sigh*

Anyone?
