This Fog is amazing!
It makes the grass look so cool with the spiderwebs!

I have the full HD version (1080p) of the picture, makes a really good desktop wallpaper!
So if you want it give me a PM.

I wish I had a weather station / thermometer, as the temp has dropped here quite noticably!! The air flow is now west south west...

Unusal Wellington has a steady SW (239) there, the wind graph is stuck on it for hours at the island bay station,is it correct as its an unusual direction for them?

Light showers on and off all morning here bringing a futher 1mm, although has since stopped.
It certainly is starting to feel like winter now, with the overcast and dreary days this low system sure has produced some reasonable rainfall for much of the country.
If Monday/Tuesdays low system pulls through its going to be worse than the low we have just had.

its possible, i have observed lots of little eddy vorticies in the low system last week, and i think that was just one of them. still, its definitely related to that system, so yea :) does anyone have access to a week long satellite loop??

the forecast low for this weekend appears to be taking shape above it - its begun!

After the talk in the other thread about a sun dog in one of your pics DT-NZ and how I had only seen a couple in Perth, I saw a pearler of one today:
Sundog.jpg
Was hard trying to get the shot right to avoid too much lens flair as you can tell. :)
I was also treated to a few contrails, all this one needed was an 'N' in front of it and it would have been perfect! :B

Got a surprising bit of rain here last night, only around 2-3mm but surprising none-the-less as it wasn't expected.
