And that's why many of the growers in Waipara use BS because +5C is absolutely ridiculous,but then again there daily max forecasts are on par also.TonyT wrote:

Just a hint of ice of top of the car this morning,wouldn't want it any heavier with a few frost tender plants outside.

At 7am the air temp. here was 0.9degrees, with frost on the car and a hint of white on the grass. Sunny!

Frost again this morning -1
,rang the neighbours at 3.00am to tell them of the frost,wonder if i've now blown my chances of been shouted beer

Got down to 0 degrees here overnight so a slight frost not enough to do any damage to plants.
