The clouds are moving from a westerly direction so the low is still south of us,it was forecasted as westerlies but if it moves north they should die out with rain starting :?

After so long without any activity I go out for a massive night on the tiles and wake up late to see anvils all over. As NZStorm's pictures show there were some nice anvils out to the northwest.

There have been a few buildups but nothing more than light showers: 2pm (ish)

A pleasant day in Central Auckland, mostly sunny,no wind and 17c but some Towering Cu build ups around over the hills and CB cloud out to sea in the west. Should stay dry here.

Patchy drizzle, cloud base around 400m and the temp hovering around 9C for most of the day.

Muck :(
There is no such thing as bad weather, just the wrong clothes.

There is a really nice Cb just to the east of Gt Barrier Island. Unfortunatly it's just too far away to get a picture of with my digital camera. Oh well, next time!

We will believe it when we get it.The NW :?: you talking about on Wedesday probably be a claytons one where the high sits to the far north where the SI gets a NW and we keep the SW :x

Yes, a lovely fine winters week but unfortunately could mild up in the evenings at the latter part of it.
This will probably, though, save the SI from power cuts.
