Showers in North Canterbury

No rain or drizzle in central Chch today, but I noticed damp surfaces in Burwood when I was there late morning. Having a look at today's radar shots, I notice there's been quite alot of shower activity in North Canterbury, with drizzle on the coast from about Kaiapoi north and showers (of moderate intensity) inland. By inland I mean the valleys and basins away from the coast (hill country reaches right to the coast north of Amberley, unlike the rest of Canterbury)
Has there been a convergence zone in North Canterbury? The forecast has just been for continuing patches of coastal drizzle in Canterbury today.

No drizzle here today Tich but there was some drops of rain just around 6pm also very humid with hardly much wind.
I did note a very small convergence going up but something wasn't triggering so only small cumulus formed with a slight dark base to it.

Just the lightest of showers - 60-120 seconds of drops, barely enough to wet the windows then dry for an hour. Clouds definitely flat not towering, I actually thought it might be from the middle level cloud above the lower stuff as the skies were generally quite bright, even when the drops were falling.

have just had a light shower, showers over the last hour, that was up brooklands way, started raining here back in town, had a nice shower this morning aswell

Brief shower in central Chch late evening as well. Cloudy this morning.
