You shouldn't mow the lawns in winter anyway, it can stuff up the spring growth...Michael wrote:At least I could mow the lawns today having a 24hr period where it was dry enough
....but then in a climate where it has permament SW gales and lots of horizontal rain, every opportunity you can get to mow your lawns, no matter what time of year, could be quite beneficial as neighbours could complain of an unkept residence and you could be forced to move.
I never mow my lawns in winter, I don't have to

yes there is also no need to mow lawns here in the winter...
Grasses will be growing today however with the spring temps
