Weather Girls

Unread post by NZ Thunderstorm Soc »

I don't want to be sexist, but why does TV3 have another female presenter on their weather tonight?
Where are the men
Steven Williams , where are you?
Michael ???

There must be lots of potential out there as men are more interested in the weather than females???

I have always thought KR would be good for this.
He could give nightly earthquake predictions with the weather!

The first apperance that new girl made I could tell she was new, I was cringing at her mannerisims (they way she acted), she looked a bit nervous.

The only guys that are left is Jim on TV one but then again he's hardly about the place, must be doing other shows. Then there's Mike in the mornings on TV one Breakfast.

Are you ready for the thousands that will want to join the NZTS, John? (just kidding -hehehe!) No doubt when the hummer comes, somehow it will get on TV. The guy that owns one here in Chch (the only one in Chch), it's been on TV about 3 or 4 times this year so far, I'm not kidding!

Cheers

Now that Jim Hickey had his last day on the weather he should be replaced by someone who knows nothing about the weather but can speak fluent Maori ;) ;)

With Jim Hickey now a "Gone-burger", I wonder who TVNZ will get to replace him?
..or will he be replaced?
I hope we don't have to put up with Kay everyday! :(

A "Gone-burger" was one of Jim's sayings of when a weather system had done it's duty and moved off out to the east.

You could do the forecast from the milking-shed :)

The lady on TV3 tonight said that the countries low was 17C at Haast/Oamaru/Queenstown when it was quite obvious and sticking out that Milford sound maximum was 15C

When is TV3...
(and I hope shortly that TVOne changes it's format and get rid of that Kay Gregory person )
... going to it's non-bimbo weather format???
