I was looking forward to seeing U2, first saw them in concert in 1984 in London and have been a big fan ever since.

May get a damp North Easterly here next weekend so it might be just as well. :?

Heh, absolutely right...my missus had our first kid a couple of months ago. It's way too easy to lose perspective.

Even tho' Irish, except for the drummer, I think U2 are are bit over the top. I wouldn't pay $325 for a ticket, well I wouldn't pay anything :roll:
...but I do feel sorry for the people who may loose money to see them in concert at that time.

They have postponed Australia and Japan as well so they may come back later in the year

well have heard that they will be back later, but feel sorry for people who have booked flights to get to see them, heard a guy on the radio today that said he had some friends coming over from the states to see them so figure that, tickets plus airfares.............eeeekkk, also the people who brought tickets thru trademe.....lucky i wasn't one of them,,,not that silly :roll:
