Lightning on Google Earth

You can now view the lightning strikes from my detector using Google Earth. The accuracy is still limited since it's just the output of one detector but it's interesting to see what can be done with Google Earth.

To view them you should right click on the following link and Save Link or Save Target to somewhere on your PC.

Use File->Open in GE and it will load and display the strikes. If the link times out you should use Ignore. It will refresh automatically every 10 minutes which is how often I'm uploading the data file.

The strikes are colour coded from most recent as white, yellow, then orange through to red at 15 minute intervals. An example of what you should see is attached below.
