METAR DOWNLOADS

Anybody know where there Metar downloads available for the smaller NZ airports eg: NZHN , NOAA does not hold them...

Hamilton is not available as a metar unfortunatly, and its not even on the met servies OBS list!
but you can get data here:

and
whakatane will be online 2 nite too!

I assume these regional airports still do metars.
I'm not an aviator so I'm not sure....can I suggest you phone the
flight service people at Hamilton airport.

Some of the Met Service AWS reports are based at aerodromes.

the internal met service data rotuine will most likely be a simplified
AWS metar report, for hamilton airport
i provide the met service, for free (well i get a annual subscription to the met soc provided,

I don't think Kaitaia still do METARs since the funding was pulled (but stand to be corrected on this).
Kerikeri take METAR obs under contract to Metservice.
