Site suggestion

Just wondering what would be the possibility of setting up a for sale/wanted to buy section in this forum - many for weather related stuff?

how do other folk feel about the idea?

It's not a silly idea!

Someone upgrades their weather station. They could on sell it to someone else who is just getting started etc etc. Heck selling their old station could perhaps pay for an additional sensor or two.

Perhaps the same forum could be used for organising loan of books or equipment?

My 10c on the subject.

Yeah good idea.. but I don't think there's enough demand/interest to warrant it's on forum.
Off topic is where it's at..
though we could create a subforum under it, will email Steven about it.

Unfortunately, phpBB doesn't allow sub-forums so for sale/wanted topics should be posted in this forum for now. Might be best to include For Sale: or Wanted: in the subject.
