This TC is currently at 994hpa and is moving west it is expected to become a cat 2 tomorrow

ECMWF did have it in it's sights on their forecast, dunno about other models.

Mmmmm well my Son and his Fiance moved to Brisbane 2 weeks ago... Will have to keep a check on trhe TC... 8)

It does not have much show getting this far south at this time of year at a TC anyways. bom are expecting it to affect areas from cardwell northwards from monday. here is the track map it updates every time a new map is issued. For the record there has not been a recorded TC to cross QLD in may before so this will be one fr the record books if it does make it this far as a TC witch seem fairy likey at this point.
