Looking for USA Weather Experts to help a new Startup

Unread post by otherweather »

Hey everyone. I'm very new here (first post!) and just wanted to say hello and extend an open invitation to everyone at NZ Weather Forum to signup at my new (and just launched) social weather forecasting website: http://www.OtherWeather.com

I'm looking for weather enthusiasts/experts to contribute forecasts from their towns/area to help make OW one of the top weather forecasting website's online. I will be rewarding my top users in the coming months based on # of forecasts and rating with a cut of the ad revenue (details to come, PM me)

Users can submit their own forecasts, rate others, add information (photo, text, links) to their profile which also features a weather widget, and forecast RSS feed. Users are ranked and the top forecasts are displayed on a Google Map.

I don't want to get all spammy so I'll stop here and just say any help (signups, feedback etc.) will help greatly and is much appreciated!

Here's the URL again, enjoy: http://www.OtherWeather.com

The world doesn't need more weather forums and I predict new start ups will fail.

the other funny thing is the title....looking for US weather experts, and yet this is a NZ weather forum?
seems more and more like it was posted by a software Forum BOT?
(but maybe not, who would know?)

Bots can't register yet as the Captcha utility hasn't been cracked yet by spammers. ;)

He probably googled 'weather forum' and spammed on all the forums. I consider it blogspam seeing there's so many google ads.

so many Google ads? there's two ad spots ... that's it

I've seen blogs with over 50 different buttons/ banners and ads. How many ads does weather.com have?

I'm not spamming either, I'm reaching out to weather enthusiasts for help.

I didn't know the trolls were this quick here ;)
