I'm of course asking because I'm off to the cricket in about an hour, any chance of rain?, the metservice is saying high cloud and windy? Hopefully there is no rain on anybody's rader.

Fine all day I presume, I think there was meant to be rain later - not sure about it now. And what do people have to say about tomorrow's weather... 28 and a NE!! Does that mean it'll be humid?

Re: CHCH Weather sat 23rd
Maybe a brief splash this evening but otherwise should be dry, that N-NE could be strong at times though.
Tomorrow 28C sounds about right that strong to near gale force NE wind should swing NW later.
Sure looks interesting on the isobaric this morning two lows one coming down from the north at 989hp which will join up with the other in the southern Tasman which is currently at 982hp.
Fresh NE here at the moment around 35kmh.
Cheers
Jason.

Warm, breezy Ne or ENE here today.
Here are some photos I took of some lentucular cloud forms around the back of the Port Hills this afternoon.
There will be no rain for the cricket. The only precipitation will come from the Englishmen's eyes when they loose, or New Zealand, if they don't get the runs required

Yes, a fair bit of rain for the cricket, but I don't think it changed the result really.
