Hotels near vector arena?

I'm going to book a hotel room for December for the Billy Joel concert, my mate wants a hotel with a hotel bar, any good suggestions would be appreciated.

If he's playing around the Makikihi area, you may better to book early :smile: but there are some hotels in Waimate and of course, there's the Hotel Studholme :eek:
