Dumont D'Urville is a horror site that has had windspeeds up to about 320kph.

Observations from BOM's site shows peak average was 158km/h and peak gust 191km/h!
Pity there is no Dumont D'Urville weather data that I can find...

and cold air is more dense, so strong winds will have more power to them, yes?
