Is that front to the North east of NZ coming or going??

There is a big high moving onto NZ , well mostly north and central areas of the country so there will be settled weather for much of the North Island, except for Auckland where they will get severe SW gales

Just found this cool new website which looks at southern hemisphere pressure maps. It has the south pole at its center...

I will try to attach todays map

looks like plenty of fine weather for rest of this week, then I reckon early next week we will get another system moving in from the SW

yeah that would be right for the sw change- just in time for the Full moon on the 8th - we know what happened last full moon!
