A big high stuck in the SW Tasman for the next week is not a good look for Aucklands weather.... 7/8 stratocumulus.

Should stay dry for Cricket at Eden Park though. :)

I'm thinking the rest of March will be dry and cool for much of NZ with plenty of cloud in western parts. Lots of Michaels favourite weather. :)

I had many years of western cloud now it looks as its getting worse as time goes by.. Its always fun when ever you go on a holiday especially to places where theres no west-quadrant winds or if there is theyre dry and sunny ;)

There is a blocking high in the Australian bight which puts NZ in the path of a persistent cooler SW. Eastern regions though should get plenty of sunshine from this. But with the ' gate open to the southwest' there is always the chance of a cold outbreak coming up from the Antartic.

Autume has arrived in Auckland a month earlier this year. The temperature range we are experiencing in March is more typical of April. :)
