Wow, talk about pushing the boundaries a little. I must admit though, it didn't see, that ferocious.

lucky alright, it came right over the top of them! (but at that stage it had broadended out and weakened a bit?)
ferocious enough what with that debri going around it

slow moving for a winter time system

Oh thats terrible.
Was it a person from that group? If so it could have been avoided instead of looking at the thing coming towards them.

A deadly tornado hit a naval helicopter base in Sicily Monday and it was all caught on tape. The video shows the strong wind lifting debris into the air. A 29-year-old member of the Italian military was killed after he was hit in the chest by debris. Three other members of the Italian Navy were also seriously injured.

The Tempo Stretto reports that the hangar's roof was lifted off and parts of its structure uprooted. Occurring between 3:30pm and 4:00pm on Monday (local time), the tornado apparently also injured two others in Catania.
