It's hitting WA in Australia at the moment as a Cat 5 cyclone.

Here's a BOM weather station in it's path: http://www.bom.gov.au/products/IDW60801 ... 4200.shtml

It's recorded a pressure drop of 25 hPa in 1 hour
Plus winds gusting over 200km/h.

TC Laurence went on to give heavy rain over NSW and elsewhere, in a drought, too. There has been heavy rain in many catchments since, with flood warnings all over the place. The season was tipped to be very dry! So much for climate outlooks.
