I see Reed Timmer is storm chasing in Argentina. The Pampas region has a reputation for severe thunderstorms/tornadoes.

The first day chasing and they got a decent supercell with a tornado!
Argentina looks to get instability comparable to eastern Australia but the region gets the upper level dynamics (jet streams/shear) as well, which eastern Australia can lack.
