Rare possible cyclone off Brazil

Unread post by Willoughby »

Interestingly an extra-tropical cyclone started to develop tropical characteristics two days ago at around -30 S just off southern Brazil.

Only 6 have been recorded and one has made it to Category 1, so this is very rare!

Thanks Foggy. _b Very rare indeed - seems it was eventually named as TC Hubert.
Also great pics of the tornado on the northern coast of Santa Catarina last week.
